Baby Shower Decoration

Baby showers are softer than birthdays and the room notices. We use low, warm light, pale florals and texture rather than colour, so the photographs stay calm and the afternoon does not feel like an event programme.

What we set up

• A pale floral arch or a low, rounded installation — nothing tall that blocks the sea
• Warm neutral light, candles and lanterns kept well away from any fabric
• A seating corner and a low table styled for the gifts
• A photo backdrop that suits the light, so you can use every shot afterwards

Timing and guests

• Most baby showers run two to three hours — ask the venue about a setup window
• Everything is finished before the first guest arrives
• Takedown is quiet and included, usually before the family leaves
